The Bouroullec brothers, two designers who stand out for their particularly sophisticated and conceptual iconic style, have created an armchair in transparent polycarbonate for Kartell: Papyrus. A perfect alliance of simplicity, finesse, grace and tradition, Papyrus takes up the traditional lines of old rattan armchairs: products that were distinguished by the strength and linearity of their shapes. The armchair combines the translucent supporting structure with vertical knurling, particularly fine and with soft and fluid shapes covering the entire external surface of the rounded backrest. Papyrus, which stands out for the lightness of its structure, is both comfortable and welcoming. The wide range of original and very “retro” colors in which the product is available makes the beauty of the worked surface even more evident and attractive.
